]]> C156 is the result of combining the creative talents of four young catalan musicians: THE GARDENER, CAUTO, DROME (aka Headbirds) and DR.RES.

C156 is the subwoofer-eating monster formed like Voltron. With respective histories in dubstep, jungle, house and hip hop, Barcelona´s bassline masters C156, defy and take you beyond the limitations of all electronic music genres.

These four young catalan producers who taking cues from Sheffield´s exploding bassline house scene, go from complex industrial sounds and crisp rhythms to pure and maniacal dancefloor music.
Explosive, witty and full of wobbling bass, their live sets overwhelm as 8 hands constantly move from instrument to synths, drums, violins, percussions and vocals.

]]> If we combine the classical/folk education of his childhood, the hip hop and techno influence of his adolescence and his youth where dubstep and breakcore opened his mind to new ideas, we get the eclectic mix of sounds that we can always expect from Pau Encinas Laffitte aka Cauto. As much as producer in his live sets, as in his DJ sessions, Cauto always looks for a balance between experimentation, dance music and emotions.  Also part of the band C156, Cauto is working away on what will be his first album, and multiple collaborations which will soon see him reaping the fruits of his labors.

]]> David Torres Martin first showed an interest in music from a very early age. A son of music lovers and collectors, throughout his youth he studied classical violin in the top conservatory in Barcelona.

After many years studying he soon started mixing vinyl’s. A short time later he begun creating his own music, developing his own characteristic style exploring new territories reinterpreting in his productions, songs full of atmospheres, deep melodies, hypnotic percussions and textured samples recorded from his surroundings.

Grey Filastine is an audio-visual artist born in Los Angeles, based in Barcelona, and often nomadic. He composes a dense transnational bass music that collides the lowest frequencies of dubstep with the highest-level beat science, acoustic strings, voices, and lo-fi street noises. A true activist against mass media monoculture, Filastine fill his compositions with an exuberant and multicoloured amount of references and samples taked straight away from today’s news.
