hello lonely, play it slower by disbootNew mix from u* with tons of crispy, crafty digital sampling and low end subs. Most of the tracks are not released yet.Downliners Sekt´s new vinyl “hello lonely, hold the nation” gives name and inspiration to this mix.

Defined by Dsekt as “slower but faster”, their new sonic emmanations and low deep rhytms brings you to

a strange and satisfactory state of tired happyness. The 4 track ep is going to be released in april in both labels, deskt.com and disboot.net. Ilia Mayer made an impressive ilustration for the cover.

Nehuen´s massive track “Let it go” will be released on april with colaboration from Emmerson. Both recently released on Poblenou Lp.

Manintheattic and Ilia Mayer tracks are the most smokey, subdub and postindustrial in this mix.

Both artists release on disboot label and now they working together in a twist towards oldschool manners

with his new band.

BOOMKAT SAYS:

“Monkeysteak’s long threatened Steakhouse Records finally precipitates it’s debut load with two tracks of hybrid dub-techno/2-step from Portuguese producers. Mr Gasparov hails from Lisbon and apparently uses a synth made from an old McDonalds till point, togther with graphics tablets and Midi-Controllers to manufacture a jumpy blend of hard-hitting subs and technoid 2-step on ‘1975′, think El-B meets Aphex Twin under a tropical sky. On the flip Octapush fuse UK Garage with skittering electronica and chanted tribal vocals on ‘Ai Nadia’, and itchin’ 2-step with female vocals on ‘Laika Likes It’. One for the rave, Dave, and fans of Untold, Atki2 or Bass Clef. Sick twelve!”

Filastine - Hungry Ghosts ( Cauto Rmx )[dboot002] 7 “
26.10.2009
The Third release from DisBooT, Barcelona’s subsonic flagship.
Filastine, globetrotting percussive beat-master and thrower of dirty bombs, presents ‘Hungry Ghosts’ perhaps the finest cut from his album ‘Dirty Bomb’, in a delicious collectable 7″ format for Disboot recordings. With fellow Disbooter Cauto working the B-Side remix, this release carries much more weight than it’s small format might suggest.
‘Hungry Ghosts’ eeks out of the speaker with stretched and warped melodies atop pumelling, percussive bass and drums. Filastine cuts, copies and mutilates the beat around the rapid fire vocals of Australian Wire MC, and Japan’s ECD to craft a song that transcends region and language to create something hybrid, global and incredibly danceable. Cauto’s remix re-dresses the song for the dancefloor, twisting the staccato riddims of the orifinal into a ghetto-tech / acid-tech sesnibility, guaranteed to ignite dancefloors from here to Timbuctoo.

Offshore - Black Destroyer Hill
28.10.2009
Offshore - presenting a new talent from the mean streets of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Offshore releases his debut single with Disboot recordings, the ‘Black Destroyer Hill’. Screwing together pulverating drums and wonky synthesizers, Offshore’s unique mix of hip hop, metal and aquacrunk set him apart from your standard beatmakers. From the lopey halfstep beats of ‘Black Destroyer Hill’ and the urgent dynamics of ‘Simsalabim’ this disc is tremoring with shockwaves of minimalistic hip hop riddims, cut apart by abrasive, metalic basslines and squashed synths.
Fans of Rustie, Jamie Vex’d and Hudson Mohawke will be grovelling at the heels of this burning hot disc, with it’s 3/4 circle hole sleeve designed and die cut by Offshore himself.+ info

NEW RELEASE!! SuckaFish P. Jones - Phantasmatica! [dboot007]

Hola,

‘Mr Cloak and Dagger’.
