“Presenting the new EP from C156, Barcelona’s bassline masters. The bastard child of four young catalan producers – C156 is the subwoofer-eating monster formed like Voltron from the combined efforts of Cauto, The Gardener, Dr Res and Drome. With respective histories in dubstep, jungle, house and hip hop, C156 presents their 12” debut for DIsboot full of music that takes from and defies limitations to any of these genres. While taking their cues from Sheffield’s exploding Bassline House scene, C156 present three tracks that could have only come from the winding, gritty streets of the Gothic Quarter.
